Miracles and God’s Will

morning_skyThis morning I read an entry on Twitter about God’s miracles.  In particular the tweet talked about how work turns into profits from God.  I responded that profits are not miracles from God.  The miracles from God are about life.

In the Bible there are chapters about Abraham and how he was favored by God as witnessed by his large flocks and family.  From discussions such as that it is often believed that one attains their wealth and power from God.  If this is true then those without power or wealth must be in disfavor from God. That argument does not make sense to me.  In fact, I have been shown that an Angel may decide to come into life in human form.  For an Angel to choose to do this is very difficult.  When it happens the Angel will not be born into riches or power but instead may appear as someone with a physical or mental handicap.  Despite that handicap people will be drawn to the person because of the peace and serenity that surrounds them, you can actually feel the love and positive energy when in their presence.  Again, if they have come as a gift to us, and if God’s miracles are about profits, then the Angel’s choice to come in such a condition would imply a choice to leave God’s love behind and that does not make any sense at all.  As I have stated over and over again.  God loves all his children, equally and unconditionally.

If what I am saying is true, if God does not grant miracles of wealth and power, does that mean that wealth and power are abominations to God?  If you read in the Bible you will see a statement that it is easier for a man to lead a camel through the eye of a needle that a rich man get into heaven.  That statement implies God “turns his back” on the rich and powerful.  That statement is also untrue.  God does not “turn his back” on any of his children.

In Perspectives, Thirty Days to Life I discuss God’s Will.  With a better understanding of God’s will for us it is much easier to understand how miracles are bestowed to us.  If you have the time, please pick up a copy to read.  If you do, please let me know your thoughts.  I can be reached here or through my website at www.transitions828.com.
